Classes explained
Mornings:
🩰 Baby Ballet (18months-4yrs) Dance to a mix of familiar rhymes and traditional ballet music. With colourful props and visuals throughout, we are inclusive of all different development stages so that each child can enjoy moving and dancing at their own pace! Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday at 9:45am-10:15am.
🩰 Pre-school Ballet (3yrs-4yrs) Using all the elements of Baby Ballet but with some clearer focus on technique and individual goals. Most of all though, we dream big and dance bigger! Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday at 10:30am-11am.
🎤 Mini MT (2.5yrs-4yrs) Here it’s musical beats, storytelling and singing along to familiar rhymes! We encourage speech and musicality to be unleashed during a subtle introduction to musical theatre! Friday 10:30am-11am.
After school:
🩰 Poppets (4yrs-5yrs) A blend of ballet basics and other styles where dancing and imaginations can be free! Supporting children in being confident in their abilities. Perfect preparation for future dance school training. Wednesday/Thursday 4pm-4:30pm.
🎤 Pop Stars (4-7yrs) High energy warm up with a musical theatre approach. We’ll be learning choreography to the latest hits whilst using a collection of music from stage, screen and radio to ignite individual passion and performance skills! Wednesday/Thursday 4:45pm-5:15pm.
Weekend:
👑 Princess Academy (4-7yrs) Indulging in imagination and practicing our perfect poise by using a blend of activities, dance and confidence building to achieve goals and collect badges in time for the big graduation ball! (Classes run September to March) Sundays 9:45am-10:30am.
* Privates (any age) Here we can work with children at a pace designed to match them, work on their own specific goals and build confidence quietly. Privates can be arranged as a 1-2-1 or in groups of up to 5 (providing all children have a like minded approach). These sessions can be booked as and when, subject to availability.
Other:
👋🏻 Pop-in play (any age) These sessions provide a magical escape from busy routines without any pressure to learn choreography or techniques! We simply set up our venue with movement and role playing activities to help children unwind and develop their skills at their own pace. Fridays 11:30am-2pm (£5 per child, terms of stay may apply during busy periods)
🎫 Performers (5yrs+) Stage presence, manners and communication are a must when wowing an audience (no matter how brilliant a dancer or performer you are)!
These sessions are for those children that ooze all things creative, want nothing more than to be on stage and are willing to work hard for stardom!
With this class parents may consider entering competitions such as the Isle of Wight dance festival for example. Entering work to such events does require a certain level of commitment from both parent and child to ensure we get the best engagement we can during classes. We want to be able to show off their talents to the best of their abilities when the big moments come! Bear in mind extra costs along the way such as costumes too. This is not a weekly class, sessions will be added as and when required.
🎈 Pop-in Parties (any ages) Enjoy a fully planned and organised party from start to finish- just bring the cake and guests, we’ll do the rest! Weekends or weekdays available (subject to availability)
